2015 Year in Review

Continuing with the "Entire Month of January is for Reflection and Looking Ahead" outlook I've taken on, today is all about sharing some of my favorite pieces from our 2015 weddings.

I'll be blogging about each of these weddings in detail with many more gorgeous pictures, so consider this a sneak peek of a few of last year's favorite moments all wrapped up in one pretty post.

A first look that takes place in an orchard among rows and rows of white church pews is right up there with some of my all-time favorite moments.

An unexpected torrential downpour on Danielle and Alan's big day right before the first dance sent the guests running for cover and the DJ packing up his gear. So we moved the party indoors, plugged in an iPod and had the sweetest first dance that I could have imagined. They didn't let Plan B keep them from enjoying their day! And at Mary and Ryan's Morgan Creek Winery celebration, the moms were on the dance floor all night long. A definitely sign of a great night!

Sweet father-daughter moments always top my list of favorites. No matter how many weddings I do, I will always tear up when they walk down the aisle and when they have their special moment of dancing. A girl's first love is always a special one.

I have the honor of witnessing many of these special pre-ceremony moments between a couple and their pastor and they never, ever get old.

Danielle and Alan were one of the sweetest, kindest, and funniest couples I have ever had the pleasure of working with. This random moment caught on camera quickly became a favorite. Black and white pictures give me all the feels. (Side note: Danielle wore her mom's wedding dress which was hand-sewn by her grandmother when her mom got married. LOVE.)

Pretty little details - like these gorgeous rose gold sequin bridesmaid dresses and sparkly silver shoes - always make my heart flutter.

If this picture doesn't perfectly sum up one of my favorite venue owning couples, then I don't know what will. I always love it when I get to work with this sweet, funny, awesome couple.

You have no idea how much more I want to share with you of Beth and Zack's stunning intimate celebration (keep a look out on Thursday, because you're going to see what all the fuss has been about!), but what made it so very special was this sweet couple. A new groom fiddling with his new ring. Sweet conversations between the new Mr. and Mrs. So much love for such an innocent picture like this.

This handful of pictures is definitely not all that made up our amazing year. We worked with so many sweet couples at so many awesome venues and it was such an honor to be a part of each celebration. So while this is a small snippet of our 2015 year in review, be on the lookout for individual blog posts detailing each special day!
