This isn't a lengthy post, but it is my heart. This is my home. This was my view for 18 years.
It's where I go when things get to be too much.
It's where I go to be still.
It's the place where my soul recognizes the gift God gives in the stillness, in the rest.
I spent so long trying to get away from that town, and it took me more than 10 years of moving off to live in the city to realize that there's beauty in the quiet and in the rest.
It's in the stillness that my heart comes alive.
